語学学校はCOVID-19のために永久に閉鎖することを余儀なくされています
業界団体によりますと、ブリティッシュコロンビア州のESL業界は、
5億ドル相当の1,800人を雇用しています。
Inlingua Vancouver は、既に閉鎖
COVID-19による国際旅行制限は、通常約200人の留学生を登録しているインリングア・バンクーバーの経営が成り立つのに十分な生徒がいないことを意味します。
授業の最終日は5月29日で、バンクーバーのダウンタウンにあり、2001年に開校したこの学校は再開されません。
Global Village Vancouver は、6月一杯で閉鎖
COVID-19のパンデミックの影響が計り知れない。
そして、なんと、
語学学校は賃貸の支払いができないため、
最大90％が閉鎖するのではないか
と、Paula Jamieson グローバルビレッジビクトリアの社長兼CEOは語りました。
気になりますのは、Global Village バンクーバー校とハワイ校が6月末迄で、閉鎖するメール連絡を弊社も5月19日に頂いておりました。

Last week, you received news that Global Village Vancouver and Global Village Hawaii will discontinue operations by the end of June, 2020 in response to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and its impacts on the global study and travel industry.
We understand these closures may cause concern about the future of Global Village as a whole, and we want to provide you with more information about the Global Village brand, our structure, and the way forward.
GV schools, which are independent entities, share a commitment to delivering high quality English language education and related services.
Global Village Calgary and Global Village Victoria will continue to offer classes online while redesigning their suite of offerings to fit market needs in the current climate; they will be welcoming any GV Vancouver and GV Hawaii students to complete their studies once other schools close. Until their physical campuses re-open, virtual classes will continue with both GV Calgary and GV Victoria offering the full suite of programs, with a particular focus on pathways.

その後、ハワイ校の代表と連絡を取り確認をしましたところ、現状、8月以降運営を続けるかどうか審議中とのことです。詳細が決まり次第、ご連絡を頂くことになっています。
11日の新型コロナの新しいケースは、
20日連続 の「ゼロ」で、
現状のアクティブなケースは、「ゼロ」です。
10日水曜日に、3,350件のテストが処理されました。
これは、5月28日以来の最大数で、現在、全体で30万件を超えるテストを実施しています。
ニュージーランドの新型コロナへの対応が成功したことで、
広く賞賛されていますが、
ロックダウンの制限と国境措置から生じる多大な経済的影響に直面しています。
